The summer school will take place in Istanbul (TURKEY) at the Istanbul Gelisim University.

July 12-17, 2019

About Summer School

The aim of our Summer School is mainly to provide to young African students and young researchers from all over the world the basic tools for understanding the fundamental problems of fractional calculus and its applications in mathematical biology. The dynamics of complex systems arising in this fascinating field will be discussed. The numerical methods appropriate for the field of mathematical biology will be also presented.

Important Dates

Filling out the Application form: June 26 , 2019

Summer School dates: July 12-17, 2019

Istanbul is a big city having more than 20 million inhabitants. Heavy traffic and possible long traveling times between hotels and the university should be considered in finding accommodation. So the best choice is to choose hotels close to the rail system (Metro (Atakoy-Sirinevler-Ataturk Airport) or Metrobus (Sirinevler-Avcılar or Beylikduzu). The Organizing Committee recommends that participants select their accommodation from among the hotels and university guesthouses as suggested below.

The Organizing Committee is not responsible for accommodation and reservations. All reservations and payments regarding accommodation must be done by the participants directly with the accommodation providers by using their contact information provided in their webpages and mentioning about this conference for special rates. Regarding the guest houses inside campus please contact the conference representatives. Millions of tourists arrive in Istanbul so finding a room may be a challenge in hotels. We would like the participants to make their reservations as soon as possible if they are going to stay at the recommended hotels.
